Vertical Form Fill and Seal

This process involves a raw product (e.g. Biscuits, nuts, pretzels, etc) arriving in bulk. The Vertical Form Fill and seal machine is set up with the appropriate film (e.g. clear, foil or printed). The raw product is loaded into the hopper of the machine and a bag is formed around the product to the required weight or length. The machine is also able to print production dates and best before dates onto the bag.

 


Flow Wrapping

This process is where a bag similar to a candy bar bag which is pinched at both ends and along the back is formed around a product. The size can vary and is dependent upon the production. The process works by feeding on to the conveyor of the machine the raw product. The machine is than able to form a bag (which can be clear or printed) around the product. If required we are able to print production dates and best before dates onto the bag.


 

Sachet Packing

This involves a raw product being packed into a sachet which is able to hold weights of 5gm to 25gm. Examples include tea, sugar, chocolate, etc.

 


 

Bag in Box

This process involves feeding a raw product (e.g. Flour, sugar, cocoa.) into the hopper of the auger filler. Depending on the quantity and consistency of the product it is able to be filled into form fill and seal machine. Alternatively, if the volume of product is too small to warrant the associated costs of setting up the machine for production than the product is packed into pre-formed bags for hand sealing.


 

Chocolate Enrobing

This process involves coating a product in a layer of chocolate. Dependent upon requirements the product can be half or fully enrobed with chocolate.

 


Vacuum Packing

Vacuum packing is the process of removing all of the captured air in side a bag and gently compressing around the product. Dependent upon the product this process is able to extend the shelf life. Usually, tests are conducted on the product to make sure that the integrity of the product is not damaged by the vacuuming process.

 


Tablet Packing

One of our capabilities includes the ability to pack tablets into pre-formed bags or containers. The machine works by collating the quantity of tablets required in a weigh head. When that quantity has been reached the product is than discharge into the waiting container. From there the container is sealed and labelled ready for despatch.


 

Liquid Filling – Hot and Cold

Liquid filling is the process of decanting a quantity of liquid from a bulk container and filling into smaller vessels ready for labelling and shipping. Please note our ability to do this is dependent upon the viscousness of the product. A sample will be required prior to quoting.


 

Hand Assembly

This can cover a wide variety of jobs.  Which can range from collating to packing a specified quantity of components into a display box.

 


 

Shrink Wrapping

This can cover a wide variety of jobs.  Everything from shrink wrapping of Chirstmas Hampers to promotional packs.  The process consists of securing a clear film around the product and than shrunk to a secure fit around the item.

 


 

Linear Weighing

Products are weighed with high accuracy and released into packaging. Applications include fresh, powders, granular products, vegetables, chips, pasta, confectionery, nuts, biscuits, pet food and many of other products.
